Wheat beer. Refreshing, with a pale straw color. You'll notice the distinctive clove and banana aroma typical of Weizen. When poured into a glass, it forms a thick, long-lasting foam.
Top-fermented beer. Pasteurized and unfiltered. Contains wheat malt and barley malt.

On tap at the brewery in Poland. A wheat beer is also brewed in Krakow. C.K. Browar Weizen is served with a slice of lemon on the rim of the glass, which isn't really my thing. It has a cloudy, orange-yellow color and smells of lemon, banana, and yeast. A lush banana sweetness spreads across the palate, but allows citrus and orange flavors to linger alongside it. I can taste hints of cloves, which are somewhat lost. The beer seems to be unbalanced. The finish is surprisingly bitter, which I would not have expected after such sweetness. This wheat beer is simply structured, tries to play to its strengths, and otherwise does not stand out. It refreshingly combines the classic flavors of a yeast wheat beer. Compared to other wheat beers, this one from Krakow is only average.
