not much of a saison here, but a very good beer. its loaded with that bright floral honey flavor and a very light pale wheat and or pils malt base. rather clear, incredibly heady and fizzy, and not really giving me much saison yeast character. i get the fruity belgian ester on the nose and taste and it goes well with the honey, its like a session tripel in some ways, theres a thought. i would regard this higher, but just last night i had the verboten orange wheat, and was simply stunned by it. this would be even better to me if i never tasted that beer, but it seems like a less potently flavored brew of a similar breed. the jury for me is still out a little on gravity. i have seen nothing from them that justifies the exorbitant bottle prices, but ive also yet to have a turd from them too. time will tell, but this beer isnt much help in that regard. neutral but tasty.
