Capped
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice clean/clear dark golden yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, slight hop note, yeasty, coriander, little citrus complex (orange, tangerine). The taste is pretty nice, malty, yeasty, slight hop note, with a nice little citrus complex (orange, tangerine), coriander. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, a nice little complex brew. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

A 750ml bottle with no date. Poured into a Duvel tulip.
It is copper in color. Mostly transparent. Not a substantial head for a Belgian, but a decent amount of white froth that retains a good film on top. Maybe a little under carbed for the style??
It has a fruity esters and floral aroma, with some almost candied sweetness and some slightly funky yeast. There's also definitely baking spices, and a grain that screams German 2 row/ Pilsner malt combo.
The flavor is fairly sweet with a little bit of phenol. The fruits are like a combo of darker berries with and apples, pears, banana. I taste stuff like all spice, cloves, and coriander. A little bit of bitterness in the end, but more of a Noble hop spice like a Festbier, Marzen, or Maibock. There is a bunch of lingering grain too that makes you think you drank a German pilsner. Fairly hoppy for a Belgian beer. It really keeps working you over in a subtle, consistent manner.
The body is on the lighter side of medium, and has a bit of liveliness, but is not super crisp or carbonated.
I have to admit, I have been reading about "Belgian Pale Ales" to try to score this appropriately. It seems to fit the description on this site quite well, except for the Duvel reference. It does not remind me of that at all. I kind of split the difference because I really feel like this leans more toward a Festbier. My overall score reflects how I enjoyed it though.

Floral nose of patchouli and taste has subtle banana from beginning to end.
