this is up there with the best beers i have ever had from gravity. its a brut ipa, golden and pretty clear, really bright in the glass, spiked with pinot gris grape must and dry hopped with galaxy to give this a wonderful vinous and tropical fruit character, awesomely summery, and while it doesnt exactly hit the ipa mark for me, its a great glass of beer no matter what we call it. the grape character is largely fermented down, at least from a sweetness standpoint, but it leaves a real wine mark on this that i love with this specific hop. the whole thing is delicate, light bodied, highly carbonated, and real easy drinking for its strength, no bitterness at all, just a little tannic tartness from the grapes, subtle kiwi fruit, green banana and melon here too in the hops and grapes together. excellent beer, better summer than fall i think, but they nailed it with this one. i hope they keep making it, its definitely a high point in my experience with their beers until now. not overly fruity but extremely distinct. yum!
