The beer comes in a pale gold color.

The beer hits of tons of lemongrass, floral qualities, along with a medium minus tart quality with a wheaty backbone onto some medicinal bitterness and a dry finish. As the beer warms, a honeyed sweetness sneaks its way through with a light crackery malt and the floral and lemongrass notes continue to drive throughout the beer.

On tap. Poured a golden color. Tart nose. Light lager quality in both flavor and scent. On the palate it displayed moderate sourness with a lasting tang and a surprising crispness. Light bodied.

This beer is not good. Smells...odd, to say the least, tastes follows suit, and it's borderline flat. Nope, not gonna drink the rest.

World class sour - tart citrusy with super clean finish.

A: The beer is hazy pale yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that died down, leaving lacing on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of sourness are present in the nose along with strong notes of funk.
T: The taste is rather sour with notes of corn and also has notes of funk from the brett yeast.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation. The clean properties of the lager seem to be masked by the brett funk.
O: The sour corn-like flavor of this beer really reminded me a lot like Peekskill's Simple Sour, except that it had added complexity from the brettanomyces.

I wasn't expecting a lot going into this beer but it had a nice initial tart and funky flavor. However, the aftertaste is that of buttered popcorn. That taste lingers in your mouth after and just takes away from the nice tartness for me.

Poured into a pint glass, a somewhat hazy orange with a faint fruity hue.
The sour aroma comes first and pretty strong, it's the smell I was hoping for, and the taste matches. The tartness is great but not overwhelming, faint dark fruit flavors there too. Mouthful is nice, good carbonation, and the tartness rightfully leaves a bit of a bite.
I very much enjoyed this sour lager, reasonably priced and very drinkable. I'll get it again for sure.
