A summer sensation: We took a batch of KIM and infused with with tart cherries instead of hibiscus - result! The hottest thing to hit hot weather since the bikini.

From 07/21/15 notes. On tap at Blind Tiger in NYC.
Pours a murky orange color with one inch of white head and low carbonation evident. Very sour fruits, vinegar, cherries, tart dark fruits, acedic, tart citrus, barnyard funk, and earthy notes. Taste is slightly more sour than the nose. Medium body and low to moderate carbonation, acidic bite.
Overall good but not great; pretty similar to the normal Hibiscus Kim. Little more dark fruits, worth checking out.

A: When held up to a bright light, the beer is very hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation; when viewed from afar it is more rosé in color with some yellowish hues. It poured with a short white head that died down, leaving a wispy patch of bubbles on the surface and a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of sourness are present in the nose along with some notes of cherries.
T: The taste follows the smell and is both sour and tart with notes of cherries.
M: It feels light-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. Bits of creaminess are also noticeable from the lactobacillus. The finish is relatively clean.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and would make for a good selection on a hot summer day. The cherry aromas and flavors aren't that strong, but help to soften the sourness to some degree.
Serving type: growler
