Super hot Saturday in NYC and I came across this at The Jeffrey... tart, crisp, lemon, with a touch of brett funk. Just about as good as I could hope for.

From 07/11/15 notes. On tap at The Jeffrey in NYC.
Pours a somewhat transparent pale yellow color with one inch of white head and moderate carbonation evident. More sour in the taste, very acidic, vinegar, sour fruits. Medium body and moderate carbonation.
Overall a nice lemony sour-vinegar wild ale. Good taste, very sour, would have it again.

I had 3 of these back to back at the brewery, outstanding balance of funky brett and tart sourness. I already miss it.

The beer comes in a hazy bright yellow straw.
The aroma is of lemon ice and tart, and lemon Gatorade.
On the palate, the flavor follows with that lemon Gatorade flavor throughout. A really crisp crackery malt and dry finish. A fine summer beer that almost drinks like lemonade or a radler.
