This is a version of ERIC More Cowbell! Chocolate Milk Stout that we then inoculated with multiple wild yeast strains and allowed to maturate for over a year. Finally the batch was rounded out with a mild french oak saturation.

Had at the brewery on 6/25 into a snifter glass. Pours dark inky black with a thin half inch tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
Really odd aroma on this, somewhat light and tart but with a bit of chocolate on the back end. Flavor is also pretty unique. First comes the sweetness and tartness, flavors of dark cherries and lacto, then at the end you get some roast and chocolate malt notes with a bit of bitterness. Very cool blend of flavors.
I feel like this beer will be polarizing in terms of who likes it. I found it pretty dang enjoyable and would love to have it again.

The beer hits tart cherry, a sharp tart quality, surrounded by a milk chocolate and creamy sweetness. What I suspect is the problem is that the beer lacks roasted notes to backup the sour element in this beer. Instead, the beer enlists reminders of spoiled milk, which is not particularly appetizing to say the least.

This is a wild one pardon the expression. On tap at the brewery last time I as there, pitch black with a very nice head for a sour. Smell is tart funk, roast, mild oak, smoke, and more tart funk. Taste is the same with a mild sharp lacto emphasis, really smooth for what this is and I don't recall a noticeable sweetness which is a plus for me. Feel is a touch light, not what you'd expect from the color. Overall a different sour you don't ever come across, really well executed and I'm glad I ordered it.
