Medium gold body with amber tones a translucent haze under a tall off-white head... Aromas and flavors suggest elements of candied pineapple, yeasty bread, tacky pine, grainy mineral water, and sweet melons like honeydew and cantaloupe... Medium-light body has a bit of chew to this moderately bitter, moderately sweet beer... Moderately carbonated (more moderation! lol) and smooth but a little sticky, too... SingleCut beers seem to be very hit or miss with me, and they have a certain shared characteristic that's attributable to the water and/or the house yeast (I guess) that sometimes I like and sometimes I don't... This time around I really liked it, and the interesting blend of flavors and aromas really piqued my palate positively...

No idea about the canning date, no sign of the beer on their instagram page, but I believe the name is a nod to Pink Floyd's song, Eclipse...

No born on date. Purchased in Westborough 12/29. I consider this beer very good but not great. Lacks aroma and is a little too bitter at the end for me.

Hazy golden yellow with a slight head from can. Wow powerful fruity nose. Bit more piney and less fruity on the flavor. Something either spicy or earthy in there too. Slight sweetness on the end that levels off the bitterness. Decent carbonation and a med/thin feel. Mild heat. Quite decent.

No canning date to be found. Most recent release, purchased at the North store. Bright yellowish orange, minima off white head that fades quickly leaving no lacing. Nice tropical fruits on the nose, ripe melon, candied citrus. 132 IBU as listed on the can but I don't find it to be overly bitter. Under ripe grapefruit/orange rind. but there is a sweetness on the backend that gives this a more nuanced West Coast IPA feel. Carbonation is fine but the finish is smooth and there is a nice piney aftertaste.

Looks apricot color with a nice fluffy/creamy head. Smells like a fruit salad with some caramel and hot biscuit scent. Taste guava, mango, some ethyl, nice hop bite with luscious caramel malts. Feels well put together and pretty delicious. 8.6% ABV well hidden. Overall when it comes to IPAs I believe Singlecut has it down to a science.

Pint can, without any date, poured into a tulip at about 48F.

Pours a medium to deep honey/peach golden, with a lot of haze. Not full opacity, but very little translucency. Weak fizzy head settles down to a completely still top in a matter of moments.

Nose: So there was no canning date on this particular can, and I'm really hoping it's old, because if not, the nose is just a wreck out of the gate. The primary aroma is stale musty yeast. Like an IPA that has sat at room temperature for 3 months. Stale, musty, and yeasty. I'm also getting a strong catty note, but this could also be due to a hop varietal like Summit- HOWEVER, I am also getting a funky sweet and sour pineapple, and to me, the combination of the pineapple, cat, and stale yeast just screams old beer. No other hop notes on the nose. A sweet biscuity malt aroma on the back end as well.

Palate: I'm gonna go ahead and make the call that this is just an old can. There's just no way a beer this awful would have a 4+ rating. I'm getting lots of yeast. Stale yeast. I'm getting a sharp, overbearing bitterness that's just indicative of an old, improperly stored IPA. Stale yeast, bitter hop oils, vague malt sweetness, lingering oily bitterness...It's just a stale beer.

Mouthfeel is medium-full, with a slight malty stickiness. Slightly over-carbonated, but that's almost certainly due to the age of the can. Feels like a very fizzy DIPA

Overall: It would not be fair of me to give this a rating in the condition that it's currently in. I can see this possibly having some character and being somewhat likeable when it's fresh, but in the shape it's in, it's going to be a drain pour, unfortunately. So since I've made it this far, I will compromise somewhere in the middle, and give this all 4's across the board. Will update this review when I obtain a fresh can.

Big effervescent bubbles for an IPA. About a finger of head. Beer almost opaque orange color in the glass. Nice tropical juicy notes on the nose with just a touch of cattiness. Cattiness has a bite that is more pronounced on the taste. Definitely a bit high on the IBU's. Date-code is on the bottom of the side of the can; almost missed it.

Bought a can from the Beer Shop. Bright orange murky appearance with a thin head. The beer has a full aroma of citrus flavors like orange peel and grapefruit. Bittersweet; great combination of mostly grapefruit and mango. Crisp mouthfeel. Overall, fantastic look, aromas, and taste.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a very cloudy amber color with a brief off-white head. Initial impression is orange, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, and caramel, followed by a touch of earthiness. Mouthfeel is sticky but not objectionably so; carbonation is perfect. Slight alcohol burn. Finish is kind of sweet, but with enough residual bitterness to call it a draw. A very good IIPA.
