Can dated 08/01/18 into a tulip glass.
L: Pours murky white bronze with 2 fingers of medium density white head with good retention and left ringed lacing.
S: Nose is dynamic and good balance of tropical fruit and citrus. Passionfruit, grapefruit, pineapple, and guava. Some bready malt undertones. A bit mute, just wanted it to 'pop' a little more.
T: Follows the nose well, good dynamic balance. Finishes with mild bitterness and astringency with just a hint of acidity.
F: Low-medium bodied with medium carbonation, silky on the tongue with just a hint of tingling/burn from the astringency/acidity, drying on the swallow.
O: Another delicious Singlecut beer for my palate and preferences.

[IMG] Finally time for a formal review of this treat from @jzeilinger . Pours a very attractive orange yellow with a 2 plus finger sticky white head that leaves a thick wall of lace as it slowly settles. Canned on 5/8/18. 4.5
Smell is guava, passionfruit, pineapple, and some grapefruit rind. 4.25
Taste follows tropical front to back, with some bitter grapefruit in the balanced finish. 4.5
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, plenty of life, maybe a tad dry from the crazy amount of hops, and excellent drinkability. 4.25
Overall this is an exceptional hazy IPA. Would love to drink this again. 4.25

On tap at McGullicuddy’s, Essex Junction, VT. They poured this into a snifter. The appearance was a lightly hazy golden yellow color. Subtle transparency about it. Carbonation was seen rising in super small bubbles to fill a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated immediately. Subtle lace. The aroma brings forth some subtle danky onion sweet with a semi-sharp bitterness hitting some citrus and pine. The flavor balances between the pine and the citrus sweet to bitter blend. Subtle tropical fruity sweetness. Quick sweet aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly nice sessionability about it, oddly enough for a DIPA, but incredibly smooth with a subtle oily content sliding along my tongue. Overall, it has the ABV level of a DIPA but a gentle smooth oily semi-sessionability in the feel.
