In collaboration with NIKE (yes that NIKE), we’ve created a session IPA that honors all the athletes that partake in the NYC Marathon. A true reward for this incredible achievement – MILES is unique in that it is primarily late-hopped for ultra smoothness (thus the IBUs on this beer are 26.2, see what we did there?). It is also double dry-hopped, using a proprietary hop oil we created. Here’s to all that cross the finish line of NYCs Fall classic!

Cloudy orange color. Medium-sized, white head. Mango and other tropical fruits dominate the aroma. Moderate bitterness in a juicy taste. Very flavorful and thirst-quenching.

Not too shabby at all. Canned date 10/22/19. Pours a quite nice slightly hazy yellow color with some fluffy white head and good spotty lingering lacing that lasted. Smells of ripe grapefruit, tangerine, mango, pineapple and lemon tropical citrus hops. Also some malt, vanilla creaminess, bread and weaker floral hops. Taste follows the nose, decent hit of mild bitterness and dankness. Well balanced, did not seem watery despite low ABV. Smooth, not too thin, mild mouthfeel with good carbonation. Definitely sessionable.

Pours a murky orange with a finger of white foam that does not retain well. Aroma is orange, papaya, lemon zest and mango. Heavy citrus. Smells bigger than the ABV suggests. Flavor profile is lemon zest, papaya, domestic orange, and a twist of mango. Heavy 'vitamin c' notes. There is a little doughy yeast in the center, like an undercooked biscuit. Mouth feel is lightly velvety, with a silty, linen-like texture. It has a medium-thin consistency. Overall, big experience for being under 5%. Very heavy citrus.

Bought a can at the Beer Shop in East Longmeadow. Beer is murky, thick yellow with a thin head and no lacing. Citrus hops with a lot of mango. The taste follows that nose but it has a wicked sharp and appetizing mango aftertaste. Creamy with a crunch of carbonation. Overall, excellent and dense session IPA.

Canned 4/4/18
Pours like a typical Singlecut, like muddy orange water, solid color, but only a tiny fizzy head
Nose brings unfortunately mosaic, dank onion and garlic, blech, behind that is a bit of citrus attempt, papaya and generic tropical notes, but hard to get anything through the loads of garlic and onion
Taste brings more mosaic but thankfully less, some oniony dank notes, a touch of pine, more citrus and a little papaya tangerine mix, generic tropical, resinous and oily thing, very little malt, almost like hop water, no balance even with the mild bitterness, finish all but disappears except the super bitter astringent pine and onion
Mouth is thin and watery, even for a session 4.2% beer, and somehow even the carbonation is barely there
OK, so I thought this would be a fun Billy Watt style beer, but instead it was just super sad pants. First of all the terrible mosaic onion and garlic, then the lack of malt and body even for a session beer, and lack of carbonation, as well as astringent finish, just a sad sad beer.
