Can to snifter.

LOOK: orange yellow color, hazy/pulpy enough to look solid. Small eggshell head has legs and a creamyness; very good retention.
AROMA: tropical fruit, (guava mostly); with a citrusy hint in there (maybe lime).
TASTE: Guava, pineapple, grass. Hint of leafy hops; even a little pine, but very light. This is mostly tropical fruit. Sweet up front, slightly bitter finish.
FEEL: Medium body, above average carbonation. Something just feels a little unspectacular, but there is nothing off-putting.

A good IPA. Excellent for me considering its a session. Unlike most sessions, this is able to keep a lot of flavor in the beer without the "hairspray taint". I had tried the base 18-watt some time ago and was not as impressed as I was with this.

Pint can opened on 5/22/19

Pours out golden and copper. White foam, thick and high. Receded pretty quick, no lace, little coverage.

A wonderfully complex nose! Full of earthy and peppery citrus, pineapple and mango puree. Sour bananas, wet leaves in the summer and tangerine. Heady complexity..really stinky.

A light and rather relaxed mouth feel, very clean with a juicy edge.
Citrus and pineapple mingle from the hop side, mild herbal and spice notes here and there. The malt is clean but with grains of earth-based taste and a hint of wheat bread.

All in all, this session IPA has more charm and complexity than most lower-abv. IPA's have. It's tricky.
