Hazy, dark golden color. Big, nice-looking white head. Aroma of dank hops, tropical fruits, and malt. Smooth, juicy, with moderate bitterness at the end.

Taste combo of banana and spicy peppercorn is unique and delicious. Smell - banana/citrus comes through strong. Complex IPA that seems like an original take on a NEIPA. Definitely recommend.

Another excellent beer from Singlecut.
Cloudy, light color peach color with a 4F head in a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Good head retention.
Banana, floral, tropical fruit aroma.
Relatively smooth MF.
Banana, citrus, tropical fruit taste. Quite strong. The peppercorns give the beer a distinct spiciness which is discernible in the taste and the finish.
Another well thought- out beer.

Says Szechuan and peppercorn in the descripto for this beer. Zero heat which is confounding. However, it is a well crafted floral NEIPA (I'm also getting mosaic on the palette). Very floral, have I said floral yet? Nice brew, feel is great, overall very enjoyable and different from the normal glasses of juice to be found out there

Canned on 5-21-19.
A - Opaque medium orange color (looks like orange juice), thick and creamy white lacing ring on top.
S - Fruit pulp and vinous peppery citrus rind aroma.
T - Some citrus but the peppercorns and szechuan dominate from start to finish with the fruity side taking the back seat. There's also light pepper presence on the very back end.
M - Thick and chewy body with a soft texture.
O - "Different", but solid.

Welcome back to my Happy CAN A New Singlecut Be All The Beer That It Takes To Make Me Happy On A Sunday (Week 724)?!? It is to be a CANcerted effort to drink, review and rate some beers in the furtherance of The CANQuest (tm) while also taking part in NBS. As always, thoughts & opinions expressed are not necessarily my own. Stamp help out!
From the CAN: "Rulpsen says: 'Come visit our brewery!"; "SingleCut Beersmiths is proud to maintain the American tradition of beer locally made from craft by zealots/lunatics who believe hard work, truth, pride and passion should always come before profit."; "Double Dry-Hopped IPA with Szechuan & Pink Peppercorn"; "70 IBU".
After having heard a loud Crack!, I CANsidered an inverted Glug, but since it came in a 16-fl oz CAN, that seemed like a silly idea. Instead, I went with a slow, C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. I was rewarded for my decision with the formation of three-plus fingers of dense, rocky, foamy, French Vanilla-colored head with excellent retention. Color was a downright cloudy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Nose was oddly tropical fruity and peppery, like black pepper, causing me to sneeze. Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, partly due to its incredible lack of filtration. The taste was almost at odds with itself in that it had a pronounced tropical fruitiness but it was accompanied by/offset by the peppery spiciness of the peppercorns. At some point, the spiciness began to win out to the point that I could almost no longer taste the fruitiness of the hops over the added peppercorns. Finish was dry, as any beer that incorporates spices should be expected to be. Now, a CANundrum - rating to style is kind of problematic due to its spiciness.
