You’ll absolutely be in heaven with each decadent sip of this brew. Deep flavors of toffee, coffee, chocolate and malted milk blend with sweet figs (and black currants for good measure).

Pours an opaque brown with casts of amber and tan. Thick tan head that dissipates quickly with little to no lacing. Smell is dark fruit with a fair amount of booziness. Feel is medium. Taste is mostly dark bitter chocolate that opens up and finishes with the same notes as the smell; fig and other dark flavored fruits with that same booziness.
Overall a really nice porter that reminds of a high quality chocolate candy with fruit.
Would definitely recommend!

Dark, brown color. One-finger thick, beige head. Chocolate, roasted malt, and some minerals in the aroma. Roasted malt and some figs in taste. Semidry finish with roasted bitterness.

LOOK: black-brown, no head,
AROMA: medium roasted malt, dark fruit highlighted by figs, coffee, mineral. very nice aroma.
TASTE: mineral plus figs and raisins dominate. light hint of smoke. bitterness accentuated in finish with roasted barley and more mineral. tasty.
FEEL: medium to full body. very flat. no carbonation. smoothness.
Far from perfect execution, but you had me at "figs in a porter".

Can dated 2/25/19. Poured into Belgian tulip.
Look is opaque pitch black with an off-white tan-tinged head. Nose is delicious lagery malt, kind of like a vienna lager in nature, but with darker notes added in, especially toffee, milk chocolate, and figs. Taste follows much the same, more dark fruit notes come through though, fig, watery plum, some raisin, and black currant way in the back if you look for it, finish is lightly bitter like dark chocolate, right in between dry and sweet, lingering fig and chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium and not creamy at all. Overall really nice Baltic Porter. Feels like a porter with a vienna lager bend to it, but also toes the line between porter and stout. Really nice balanced brew.
