Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Hazed golden pour with thick fluffy white head. Nice ring of lacing.

S: Tropical fruits and citrus.

T.F: Just like it smells. Grainy malts give way to a semi-sweet tropical fruit hop profile. Mango and papaya... grapefruit, tangerine, and melon. Grape must and guava. Medium bodied... creamy on the tongue... a bit sticky. More fruit at the finish.

O: Another damned good DIPA from Singlecut. Similar yet slightly different from their regular lineup... outstanding beer.

Reviewed from a 4/30/19 batch.

A murky yellow and almost vanilla cream color with a fluffy white head of foam. The nose is subtle with light citrus fruits. A tangy and creamy start to the drinking with definite citrus fruit notes carried from the nose. I'm mostly getting mango, mixed berries, and grape. The flow is smooth and creamy with some decent bitter on the finish for the style. A moderate mouth feel that drinks a bit heavy with the abundant creamy feel. There is a definite off-taste on the finish. It comes across as a sort of musty spice and is rather dirty tasting. Its not very pleasant.

Overall, I'm not very impressed here and its possibly one of my least favorite offerings that I have had from the brewery.

Pours an opaque pineapple/orange juice color, with a fizzy head which dissipates rapidly. Smells of Guava, peach, fresh hay, cantaloupe ? Tastes like a tropical fruit smoothie with almost the same consistency. Not quite but this sucker is viscous for any IPA. I wish it were a tad bit thinner. Feels too thick but not offensive, again my comparison to a smoothie consistency is not that far off. Overall an outstanding NEIPA. After this beer warms up a bit it becomes markedly thinner.

16 oz can poured into a tulip pint.

Hazed-out, opaque blonde. Short white head dissipates quickly.

Mango, guava, peach, honey, milk, and dank.

Peach syrup, mango juice, guava nectar, and blueberry smoothie. Dank, damp grass, sun-dried pine needle, and slight earth. Honey, milky, oaty sweetness. Finishes with grapefruit and a piney bitterness.

Full bodied, creamy, and juicy with a medium-light bitterness.

Bold tropical fruit and pine flavors with a full body and creamy consistency. What else cold you ask for?

Canned on 4-30-19.

A - Opaque dark orange pour with thick creamy white lacing that sticks to the sides of the glass.

S - Peach, papaya, and some spicy fruit rind aroma.

T - Peach, papaya, mango from start to finish and ends with a strong peppery fruit rind that lingers.

M - Thick, chewy, full bodied, and bone dry on the back of the tongue.

O - Held up well after a month, really enjoyed this one.

Wow. Another outstanding SingleCut. Cans dated 4/30/19 for my Memorial day weekend. This will be a great summer Hop/Citrus brew while it lasts. Green Watering Can nails all five categories for an Imperial lover except the price. The cost of brewing in the Big City.

Can from City Swiggers on the UES. Pours a hazy light gold with fluffy white head and good lacing, smell is a tropical fruit bounty, mango, papaya, pineapple, hints of peach and orange blossom, taste follows the nose with tropical fruit slushy or tropical/peachy creamsicle, fresh squeezed orange juice. This beer is full bodied, well carbonated and finishes dry. A fruity tropical nectar delight.
