Workingman's Cut pours a darker copper color, with a medium-sized, long-lasting head. The aroma is sweet, with cream and coffee notes. The flavor is mild, but sweeter, and a decent fresh coffee flavor. Good feel. Overall, a sweeter, mild coffee ale.

love the name, love the art, obviously love the dead, but just north of lukewarm on the beer, possible off peak freshness here, but i did not see a can date, just a bit sweet, unexciting a little bit, not peppy and dynamic, not quite collapsed and saggy, but sharing a single can felt like enough, even if there are parts of this i dug, i think i just expect everything from these guys to rule, because pretty much all of them have in my experience, and ive had more than a few. cream ale with lactose, hazelnut, and good coffee. to me maybe its that the hazelnut doesnt quite seem natural in this clearish bronze tinted brew, obviously taking a little color from the java, its like a hazelnut drink at a cafe, done with flavored syrup not with actual nuts, which i guess fits a hazelnut latte vibe, but not really a hazelnut beer vibe, to me probably not brewed with nuts. the lactose again approximates a coffee drink, but the overall sweetness in the beer is pretty high, and to me that limits how much of this i want to consume, and it also kind of crowds out the nuance of the coffee, which is low acid and seemingly lightly roasted, of quality, cocoa and caramel to it, indeed nice with the hazelnut, an almond or even amaretto aspect too, maybe i am being too critical, like this is objectively nice tasting beer. subtle oxidation maybe just to the coffee, very light on the grain but just malty enough to still be beery, coffee leads and its not all that roasty, very low bitterness at any point, but persistent coffee start to finish, first sniff to aftertaste. i think the coffee dosage is great, and i love pale coffee beer so much right now, i could just do with less of the lactose, which kind of teases vanilla in this too, and maybe a little more carbonation and textural lift, the base cream ale isnt really a big flavor factor either. some chocolate late, obvious hazelnut flavor, but not super desserty either even with the sweet. cool showcase of the coffee, but i think i expected just a bit more from this overall...

Clear golden. Big, white head. Coffee, malt, and hazelnuts in the aroma. Creamy, moderately sweet taste. Interesting beer. Not the most popular style nowadays.

The fuck? A cream ale with coffee? Hazelnut coffee nonetheless?!?! This one should be real interesting
Pours a mostly clear dark gold with just a small cap of white head that reduces to a ring quickly, no lacing
Aromas of spent coffee beans, lactose, and crystal malt. Not too much going on here
On the front end of the sip I’m getting that used, burnt coffee bean flavor, but it eventually is over taken by an assertive hazelnut roast and more simple, smooth malt
Light medium bodied with almost no carbonation, the coffee makes this finish mostly dry and it goes down very easy
Well this was an interesting one. Nothing like what I was expecting, but then again, how would I have expectations for something out there like this?

A- Tallboy pours into a chalice with medium gold hue and a one finger foamy cap. Head has decent retention before it turns into a small ring at the edges of the top of the beer. Spotty lacing forms on the glass.
S- Coffee is the most prevalent thing in the aroma joined by a decent suggestion of sweetness, light grains and notes of hazelnut. A touch of light fruits as well.
T- A cup of hazelnut coffee really does come to mind right away with a slight bit of sweetness. The toasted nuts are joined by bready, cocoa, medium roast bean, vanilla sweets and a touch of dried fruit. Lactose sticks out as straight lactose with that signature sweetness and milk sugar notes.
MF- Light bodied with a moderately low carbonation. The texture is foamy and a bit creamy but overall this aspect of the beer lacks just a bit.
Hazelnut coffee as a Cream Ale. Clean overall flavor profile and it works out in this light brew. Just a bit one note to be honest.

A: The beer is rather hazy dark yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of coffee beans are present in the nose.
T: The taste has lots of flavors of hazelnuts with strong notes of coffee beans. There are hints of sweetness from the milk sugar.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes like a hybrid between a blonde coffee stout and a cream ale. I liked all of the hazelnut and coffee flavors along with the good drinkability.

Draft, nitro. What a wild beer. Flavors you don't expect in a pale brew. I thought they did a really good job. Nutty, and coffee, and woody. Almost a little too much; like a liquid candle at some points. Takes away from the drinkability but the first sip is a shocker...in a good way.

It has a sweet aroma/taste of Bunn machine made hazelnut-french vanilla cappuccino. Smooth, sappy feel, and the adjuncts seem to weigh this beer down in body.
