Decent two-finger head. The liquid is nearly clear with a bright copper color. The lacing is streaky with some random spotting.
Mostly pale malt smell with a touch of unmalted grain. Lightly earthy with an even milder hop presence.
This is a lighter and well balanced beer. The taste is different from the smell. There's a tinge of fruity sweetness with a definitive hop bitterness in the swallow. Relatively thin and crisp with a moderate to higher carbonation level. The aftertaste is also light and short lasting. I like the round fruit touch after the swallow.

Elderberry maibock? Sounds like an interesting concept for a style that's not around much, but it could be good. Singlecut has some really good hoppy beers, let's see how they handle the malt side of things
Pours a hazy copper orange with just a finger of white head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is very malty sweet, bringing forth notes of buttery toffee and floral hops which is counteracted by lightly tart elderberries and blackberries
The flavor drops the ball in terms of balance but it's still not bad. It starts off with flavors of syrupy elderberry, caramel, and bready malt. On the swallow, things get fruity for a brief moment, mostly elderberry and a touch of strawberry, before returning to a thick sweet malt
A medium full body combines with moderate carbonation for a very filling beer, even more so than the abv suggests. Finishes thick and wet, but not sticky
Definitely an interesting one here, and not one I think I'd return to in the future. It's a cool idea and good for what it is, but the sweetness makes it sit very heavy in the throat and stomach

A big lager with a delicate edge of berry flavor. Flavor profile makes me think of lightly sweetened black tea. Finished with a lingering herbal bitterness. Lovers of lagers should enjoy this one.

A: The beer is somewhat hazy yellow in color and has some hues of orange along with a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left thick wisps of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of spicy hops and toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of toasted malts with notes of spicy hops and elderberries along with hints of bready malts. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked how this maibock was balanced between the malts and the fruity elderberries and the spicy hops.

I think the can date says 11/15/19 but hard to tell since it's smudged, unfortunately a bit old
Pours a med-large frothy foamy 1 finger head with med retention, a bit of messy lacing, very hazy med-dark orange color
Nose brings light sweet malt, a little doughy gristy, light cereal and pancake batter, with fruity berry in the background
Taste brings more sweet grainy malts up front, more pancake batter like flavors with some dough and grist, light fruity berry flavors, a little boysenberry and elderberry like, light tartness, into some bitterness, little herbal earthy hops, with light spicy notes, a little vanilla spice as well and light phenol notes, some fruity esters, drier finish with med bitterness and spicy herbal hops
Mouth is med bod, a touch syrupy sweet, med-higher fizzy carb
Overall it's OK, nothing special, Maibocks should be drank fresh esp with the Elderberry, and unfortunately it's a little old, but still didn't seem like that great of a beer in general, but something unique to try.
