For our next trick, we'll need a volunteer from the audience! The first in a new series inspired by Tomorrow Who‘s Gonna Fuss (and paying homage to Minneapolis’ *greatest export, The Replacements). Intense juicy tiki pineapple/papaya, sweet mango candy, a pop of bright chewy resin, lemonade popsicles, and a beautiful grassy linger. Pull another rabbit out your hat.

Pours a relatively clear golden color. A moderate silky head retains will and displays some nice frothy lacing.
The nose opens with tropical notes of passion fruit, papaya and mango. Aromas of floral spices, grapefruit, tangerine combine with herbal notes of grass, basil and cracker malt.
A bready and cracker malt base provides a soft and moderately sweet backbone for the hops flavors. Fruity, floral, citrusy and lightly herbal with a mild bitterness. Tropical flavors of mango, pineapple, passion fruit and papaya pair with citrusy notes of grapefruit, tangerine and lime. The palate becomes increasingly peppery and resiny, with notes of pine, grass and verbena.
Medium to full bodied with a smooth, frothy and mouth coating feel. The finish is smooth with some dryness and a gentle alcohol spice. The carbonation is moderate.
Solid DIPA overall that hides the alcohol well and is easy to drink. I would have again.

The label is not exactly the same, but the ABV is. What came from the pint can was specifically labeled a DDH IIPA, so it is a version of the Imperial India Pale Ale, but does the double dry hopping make this one different? Questions about the category won't effect this rating. Now the brew is inside a clear glass Imperial pint mug. It's light amber colored and somewhat opaque in its appearance. There's a predominant piney sharpness to the smell. The white head is tight and enduring. There's a nicely smooth hoppiness to the taste. This is nohing to rave about, just completely above average in every category. Here, the malt provides a good body without over-sweetening the brew. The hops are solid, without being overly bitter. The mouthfeel is bodied, soft and hides most of the 8% ABV. This is way above average.

A - Pours a very hazy medium orange color with a dense ring of creamy lacing.
S - Pungent spicy pineapple and pineapple rind are first and foremost, papaya, and light tropical fruit. Overall aroma is very dank.
T - Pineapple, some spicy pineapple rind, citrus, earthy citrus rind, a little bit of onion and garlic. Overall flavor ends on the sweeter side with minimal bitterness. Nice lingering citrus on the palate.
M - Big medium body with a soft texture. Coats the mouth with a healthy layer of citrus.
O - Solid. Lots of citrus. Worth a try.

If you need a juicy, fruity DIPA, this is not it. Onions and dirt in the nose, with a hint of tropical fruit behind it. Dirty mango flavor. Lingering blood orange aftertaste. Mouthfeel was solid, however... great carbonation - nice and smooth.
Kind of pissed that I paid $23 for a 4 pack of these.

Can to snifter. Canned 6/24/20, so just over a month old.
LOOK: medium hazy yellow. frothy wide head, a little creamy looking. excellent retention
AROMA: ash, citrus. no razzle dazzle here. pleasant, but not overpowering.
TASTE: Much more flavor here that is not hinted at in Aroma. mango, guava, pineapple with a touch of citrus.
FEEL: smooth. medium body; maybe a slight lean towards full body. Definitely some weight to this, but sips smooth as well. light to medium carbonation.
Singlecut does it again. Very high quality here.

Love myself a hazy juice bomb. Dank and citric juicy nose on this baby, oh boy. Onions and citrus and dank goodness. Love the flavor profile. On point carbonation really makes this beer a winner. Did I say this beer has some nice sweetness to it.
