Like an interstellar burst, hopped exclusively with our favorite new crop buds from New Zealand, and inspired by our Green Plastic Watering Cans. “Tropical” but with immense depth, a blend of warm mango and soft ripe papaya, Dole Whip, peppery citrus, juicy Sauvignon Blanc grapes, sticky guava resin, and a long beautiful linger of guava candy, all wrapped up in a round and creamy body. A new fav.

Hazy yellow color. Medium-sized, white head. Citrus, some other tropical fruits, and malt in the rooms. Moderately bitter, some astringency at the end.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $3.99. It's hard to read the code on the bottom, let alone understand what it means. I saw this for the first time in the fridge a couple of months ago, so I think that it is relatively fresh.
Look: Very hazy with an orange creamsicle and almost butternut squash soup kind of look to it. There was a frothy off-white head of a couple of fingers that subsided to a thin layer.
Smell: Nice citrus and tropical notes, along with a bit of green and dank notes. I'm getting white grape, guava, pineapple, orange, mango, and passion fruit. It's a bit like a fruit cocktail, difficult to hone in on specific flavors. Green bell pepper and a bit of onion on the finish after swirling the glass. Overall it smells nice.
Taste: It's very tasty. Super juicy and the bitterness is very low. It's really creamy too. At the same time, it tastes simple - not very complex and a bit boring. Nice spritzy acidity. In my opinion if these same ingredients are used to make a West Coast IPA, the result is invariably a much cleaner and more interesting result.
Feel: It has a nice creamy mouthfeel. Very soft and pillowy. Carbonation is the appropriate level.
Overall: I love New Zealand hops and I enjoy IPAs; however, in my experience I find that the New England style IPA doesn't bring out the best in hops like Nelson Sauvin. It's a bit like wasted potential in my opinion. It's still a good beer for what it is and it was enjoyable. Singlecut makes good beer; it's been a while since I've had one of their beers.

Totally hazy yellow straw color, white head, decent lacing. Smell is dank and fruity but soft and mellow. Melon, guava, maybe pineapple. Taste has notes like the aroma towards the beginning, followed by a nice hop coating finish. Fluffy medium mouthfeel.

Citrusy, fruity, tropical. Cloudy, fluffy. Clean. Crisp. Boozy. Mild. Subtle. Like it.

On draught at George Keeley, NYC.
Pours a hazy orange color. A creamy and mousse like white head retains well. It yields swirls of lacing.
The aroma evokes a juicy burst of tropical fruit. Notes of mango, guava, papaya and pineapple, along with bright citrus fruit and Sauvignon grape. There is a touch of herbal and grassy aromas.
The taste opens juicy and supported by creamy malts and oats. Candied fruit flavors evoke notes of guava, papaya, mango, grapefruit and orange. Lightly spicy herbal hops flavors tickle the palate and add a hint of bitterness. The palate dries up midway which brings forth notes of Sauvignon grape, dry cracker and lightly peppery spices.
Medium bodied with a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. The finish is dry, bright and lightly resiny. The carbonation is moderate to mild.
Smooth drinking IPA, very easy to drink. I liked the candied fruit notes and it’s balance. I would have again.
