Extra Dry Rice Lager

Summer is here, porches are prepped, boats have been launched, and it's time for a true crusher. Extra dry, extra crisp, light as a feather, with a clean clean finish, a light memory of white bread and fruity white wine on the pallet, and the unmistakable need for another sip (we brewed this beer to be just as good straight out of the can). Twist-Off has been a long in the works project, and 10% of proceeds from this summer easy drinker are being donated to the Sweet Relief Foundation, helping out of work musicians cover necessary medical and living expenses.

Look: Pours a completely translucent light golden color with a one finger white head that fizzles away instantly.

Aroma: Rice cakes, buttered biscuits, nilla wafers. Mildly fruity with hints of mild lemon peel.

Taste: Sugar cookies upfront along with notes of pink peppercorn. Pears and lemon peel halfway through. Ends on floral and dry cilantro flavors. Has an underlying sugary, pale malt flavor

Feel: Very crisp, super refreshing. Mid-high carbonation, light mouthfeel.

Overall: I would drink this all summer long. A little sugary, but still very refreshing; it's balanced out by a dry/floral aftertaste.

A: The beer is crystal clear light pale yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short whit head that quickly settled down, leaving some small specks of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of saffron are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has saffron-like flavors along with faint hints of honey.
M: It feels light-bodied and rather clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This may look like a fizzy yellow beer but I found the smell and taste to be very pleasant and saffron-like. I could sip this beer all day long if I was sitting in the backyard or riding on a lawnmower.

Can from the brewery in Queens during the 2020 COVID pause. Pours a clear very light tan/yellow with a flash of head, smell is sweet bready malts, hints of peppery spice, taste follows the nose with sweet doughy/bread up front and light grains, finishes with an hint of almost spicy/ Szechuan/ minty dry feel, this beer is crisp, clean, and dry. A great clean and dry lager, perfect for humid summer days.
