Classics never die, they just get bolder. This new CUT OUT series is all about bringing some of our favorite old school flavors and upping the intensity for modern beer palates. Big aroma of juicy and dry white grapefruit, tangerine, and clean green pine, balanced with a delicate, biscuity malt base. Old school is cool.

Can dated 12/21/20 into pint glass. Upon cracking the can I was greeted by a rush of foam - surprising, since most of Singlecut's IPAs are moderately carbonated. Color is a slightly hazy amber, with a huge blocky off-white head. Initial impression is pine, citrus, a bit of dankness, and a touch of caramel. Mouthfeel is medium; carbonation is, surprisingly, about average. Maybe it exhausted itself on the initial surge. Finish is dry and slightly sweet. Overall, an unremarkable old-school IPA. Would not revisit.

Single 16oz can shipped from Half Time
Pours a medium amber color with a massive off white head. Great retention.
Aroma is hoppy with hints of citrus, almost smells like an IPA.
Taste is what the nose already suggests. This is in the IPA direction for sure.

Deep amber color to the body; excellent carbonation; thick and creamy white head, long lasting; dense, sticky rings of foam mark the glass. Dank aroma with a bit of pine; some caramel. Fairly balanced flavors; mild caramel, a touch of fruity esters, mango and kiwi; subdued hop bitterness, starts slowly and ends on a moderate note. Medium body; some residual sugar heft; semi-sweet mouthfeel.

This is a great looking beer with a satisfying flavor.

Slight haze, with a fairly dark amber body bordering on copper. Good head production and retention, leaving behind excellent lacing.

Nose is a blend of pine, citrus, pale grain, and caramel. Similar to a WC IPA profile, but less bitter and aggressive.

Fairly grainy on the palate, with a nice malt body emphasizing both pale and caramel malt without overdoing it. Hops add notes of citrus, pine, and brown sugar, similar to Nugget Nectar but with less citrus punch.

Smooth and lively on the palate, punching a bit above its weight at only 5%. Very drinkable.
