16 oz can poured into an IPA glass.
Pours a hazy, pale, and very light orange with a 2 finger frothy white head, leaving moderate lacing.
Initial aroma is powerful, containing strong pine and some grapefruit flesh.
Initial taste is sweet malt with fuzzy juicy hop bitterness, like a New England IPA, heavy grapefruit zest green grape, and a sharp resin hop bitterness, like a West Coast IPA, which persists where the other hop bitterness fades quickly, and lasts into finish, being joined by a note of what seems to be semi sweet white wine, green grapes, and a note of jasmine. This finish retains a sweetness, and is predominant on the tip of the tongue, with the resin bitterness sitting in the bottom of the back of the mouth.
Feel is smooth and silky. Really glides down the palate with ease. This sensation is bolstered by a wonderful thick layer of froth that rejuvenates through agitation of need be.
Overall it's solid. I wouldn't call it a standout to my tastes, but I enjoyed it, and the feel was delightful.
Not sure I'd buy again but I would certainly drink again were it not for the money.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation and some particulates clinging to the bottom of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of white grape are present in the nose along with notes of honeydew lemon and hints of lime.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that there are also notes of gooseberry and the flavors of lime are stronger. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA seems to have lots of aromas and flavors of Nelson Sauvin hops.
Serving type: can
