L - Pretty solid, clear west coast appearance, good head for a bit, a little lacing. Nice.
S - Decent aromas of rich malty pine; almost has a weird buttery-creamy smell to it, not sure what's up.
T - Solid but that buttery malt, cream sensation carries to the taste, despite a nice hit of malt backbone and some good bitterness (more expeced). WOnder if they're using any lactose or if the water hardness is just different from what I'm used to. A little off-putting.
F - Ok mouthfeel just can't get beyond the strange buttery malt sensation in my mouth. Eek.
O _ a Good IPA, not a great one, that has some strange either malt and/or hop combo that is just not working for me. But still solid, and still gonna drink these.
