A thicker deep brown pour, 2 fingers of foamy dark brown head.. Slow dissipation/grey lacing
Smells of coffee, chocolate, dark roasted grains.. Not as sweet as you'd think for having honey.. But that's mostly going to be present in the mouthfeel I'm guessing.
The flavor is dark and roasty, a bit bitter, lots of coffee flavor.. Hoppy and dark.
Medium in body, creamy, with a dry finish.
This is the first beer I have from spiteful and it's pretty awesome. A delicious roasted profile with a great looking pour, and the perfect dry finish for a stout. I'll have to try more of their offerings.
