Pitch black with a thick tan head. Dark fruit, chocolate, roast, and coffee in the nose. Taste is similar. The mouthfeel is pleasantly thick and creamy but... this is both boozy and extremely dry and roasty in the finish, too much so for me.

Tasted in a Spiegelau stout glass from a 1 pint 6 fl oz bottle on February 10, 2018. Look is dark brown with a thin tan head and lingering lacing. Smell and taste is bitter dark chocolate and dark roasted malts. Feel is medium in body and smooth in the finish. I would drink this again.

Black with ample creamy mocha foam, plenty of sticky lacing coating the glass, and good surface coverage. Aroma is subtly green with herbaceous piney hops, and a light sweet chocolate underneath.
Taste is bitter and rich with chocolatey roasted malt, somewhat hoppy with a piney hop undercurrent. Creamy smooth and full bodied, dry and bitter. It never becomes overly sweet, and is easy to drink considering the ABV. Overall a really nice imperial stout, I think I like this better than GFY.

Very hoppy RIS. Earthy and green. Bitter stickiness. Reminds me of darkness. Chocolate with a nic roast. Molasses. Caramel.
Full bodied. Nice bitterness.
Solid offering. Well done. Very darkness like.
