22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Had this on 4/25/16.
Pours a hazy, light amber. A small, quickly dissipating head, some cling. Smell is citrusy and earthy hops, malt, some caramel. Hop smell is strong at the beginning of the bottle, less so as the bottle empties. Taste is malt, citrus, a little dank and resiny, sweet lactose, some caramel. Good amount of bitterness on the finish. It's a little sweet. Smooth, pretty creamy, solid body.
Good malt and hops balance, the lactose worked well. Enjoyable to drink. Worth a try, if it's still around.

Batch #403 tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 1 pt 6 oz bottle on April 23, 2016. Look is burnt orange with a foamy white head and lingering lacing. Smell is lactose, tropical fruit, herbs with burnt caramel and toasted malt aromas. Taste is lactose sugar, tropical fruit, honey, bitter citrus with sweet caramel malt flavors. Feel is medium in body that is initially sweet but finishes bitter.
