22 oz. bottle, handwritten Batch #423 on the bottle.
Poured to a clear balloon snifter.
A - Pours a dark cola-brown-blackish body, little less than a finger of thin frothy mocha head that leaves excellent scattered strands of lacing throughout. Looks pretty nice.
S - An interesting aroma - part chocolate, part vanilla, part s'mores. It smells like how i remember the Oreo cereal tasting from back in the day which gives me impressions of cereal grains, vanilla cream, and artificiality. Notes of fudgey brown malts, marshmallow fluff, random assorted nuttiness.
T - Taste brings in more of the same: chocolate, vanilla, bit of nuttiness, some cream. Not the typical notes of chocolate that i usually find in stouts & porters - more of a crushed Oreo cooking cup chocolate and not baking chocolate. Lightly roasty, chocolatey, & bitter on the finish. Hops? Subtle touch of alcohol.

Nice color and aroma. Lots of chocolate on the nose. The taste, to my surprise, was leather and tobacco with the chocolate. A good porter, but the namesake is not an accurate representation of the contents of the bottle.
