Pours a cloudy matte orange color. Effervescent. Frothy white head dissipates levying a thin layer of partial foam along the top of the beer. Minimal white lacing is left behind.
Smell is very earthy and piney with some bright passion fruit coming through. As the beer warms the passionfruit flavors take a back seat.
Taste follows the nose with lots of pine, earthy hops, and grass. Passionfruit notes come through but are complimentary. Nice balance between the fruit addition and maintaing the IPA taste. Bitter finish.
Feel is medium bodied but drinkable for an DIPA. Mild to medium carbonation, but its rather prickly on the tongue. There is a thick sappy stickiness to the beer particularly as it warms.
Overall a nice DIPA. Fruit adds some nice depth, but overall its a classic DIPA.

Tasted in a pint glass from cask at The Green Lady on A God Damn Delightful Day December 10, 2016. The passion fruit aromas from this beer are intense. Very pleasant.
