Our Dark Lager is inspired by the classic Czech style, think Czech pilsner meets a German Schwarzbier, but with greater malt richness and hop character.

Pours a dark brown almost black color. Completely opaque even when held to the light. Thick two to three finger head dissipates steadily leaving a ring of tan foam along the outside of the beer.
Aroma has notes of toasted grains, dark bready malts, tobacco, and some earthy hop notes.
Taste has notes of dark bready malts, tobacco, roasted malts, with some light herbal hops on the back end. There is just a slight tinge of bitterness on the back end of the palate.
Feel is light to medium bodied. Very smooth feel to this beer with a dry finish. Moderately carbonated.
Overall a very nice dark lager - when put up against some of the imported Czech dark lagers available on the market its more of a cross between a dark lager and a schwarzbier, so not entirely to style, but its quite nice.
