16 oz can into a mug. Clear light amber color with a small off-white head. Sweet malt aroma with some spice and a hint of lemon zest. Tastes of doughy malt with a hint of vanilla. Medium-light body could use a little more heft.

Lighter amber clear body with a white head and thick blobs of lacing. Smell and taste are the same: grainy and fresh baked bready yeast is really potent but in a gentle way, accenting grassy hops dance upon the sweet malt and slight earth. Feel is malty and yeasty simultaneously, but generally soft and smooth with slight froth. The wife liked it

Canned 8/17/21; drank 9/5/21 @ Hannah & Kenser's.
Semi-opaque golden appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy tan head; nice lace.
Brown sugar, cream & mild caramel notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Cream, caramel & brown sugar flavors; slightly above average marzen vibes here.

Love the color of oktoberfests in general, this one is a lovely reddish amber, clean and clear like a jewel. The loose head maintains a ring around the glass, in very lightly toasted color. Nutty and malty in the nose. I'm reminded of a caramel walnut brownie. On the first sip I get that brownie again, but the bitterness tones down the sweetness slightly to more of a dark chocolate. It's not rich, but the flavors definitely bring me to the end of summer. It's actually sweeter than I would want. It also feels heavier than the 5.5% listed on the can.

tested from 16oz can. canned 9/14/020. 5.5% ABV
Look: semi transparent dark gold body. Nice tall fine white head that lasts a while leaving some lacing.
Smell: bread
taste: Bread, grain, A nice soft slightly sweet malt. as it warms you get some floral hops. almost a 4/5 for taste
Overall just slightly sweet and smooth. not your typical American sweet marzen. I will give it a 3.89/5 rating
