(4/4) Pitch black center with brown edging, head dies into a thin brown ring. Somehow the nose is worse than the rest: roasted earth, chocolate, sweet cherry, and metal. Taste still is heavily roasted, cherry bonds with the almond, vanilla with chocolate, but all flat and short lived. Lighter and thinner body, somewhat cloying and, shocker, heavily roasted. This whole series was a not good, spiteful is in time out in my book, too bad I used to love them

Canned 1/9/20; drank 1/19/20 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
A violent pour yielded a huge dark tan head which quickly dissipated (careful pouring!); almost no lace.
Fresh earth, cream & dark chocolate syrup notes in the nose...absolutely no cherry at all.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Cream, fresh earth & sweet chocolate syrup flavors; again, no cherry at all.
Borderline cloying and missing any hint of the titular cherry; this was a swing & a miss.
