5/18/26 - (Spiteful Brewing Brewery) (Chicago, Illinois) Brewery Notes: $8.82 with tax 16 oz draft poured into a 16 oz Nonic glass, 4.5% ABV Guava Gose. Brewed with guava and wheat, Twang delivers the refreshing tartness of a German-style Gose - with a tropical twist. Our kettle souring process lends Twang its spark of balanced acidity.
Appearance: Haxy white yellow orange. (from bottom to top) base, light carbonation, egg white head leaves generous soapy bubbly lacing and a creamy cover over the base. 3.75
Aroma: Mild guava, citrus and lemon aroma, all play nice together. 3.75
Taste: Fuller taste, bursting with guava and grapefruit, backed by lemon and citrus. 4.0
Mouthfeel: Drinks light and easy, acidity faint, slightly balances but sweet overall fruit flavors. Carbonation faint and gentle, grapefruit guava start to finish. 4.0
Overall: Very light and easy gose, acidity faint for those who fear. Nice fruit flavors, sweet though no excess. Great for a muggy warm May day. 4.0

Twang pours a pale yellow color with a fizzy, long-lasting head. Notes of guava. The flavor has notes of guava, and cream, a very fizzy and bright feel and taste. Overall, it was a nice, easy drinking fruit beer.

Hazy golden with quickly dissipated white head. Guava and sight lactic on the nose. Guava jam and wheat spice with lactic tang. Ends dry with light to medium body. Average but very drinkable

Extremely drinkable and quenching. Lightly tart and mild citrus, lemon zest, seltzer, wheaty finish. Crisp and dry, light bodied summer quaffer. Had one to send off Guthries Tavern in Chicago, thanks for 34 years.
