Rip Current has proven to me over the past year of trying their beers that they are above competency in a wide array of beer styles, and prove it once again here with their Weizenbock. Pours a cloudy, murky, dark brown, with a small tan bubble cap. The smell consists of clove, banana, dark bread, dried fruits, and the taste follows suit. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, and smooth, without any real notice of its alcohol level. It's very interesting to try a classic strong German style in such a fresh context (mere days old) without making the journey to its mother country.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
