Consumed at the brewery tasting room, April 20th, 2014.
Beer is a cloudy shade of yellow that's nearly orange. Creamy white head is decently clingy on the sides of the glass.
Aroma? Raspberries.
Flavor? Raspberry with a touch of wheat tang. No bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with barely-notable carbonation.
Nothing at all remarkable about this beer except the relatively high ABV. I had been hoping the stronger-than-usual beer would stand up to the fruit addition, but the flavor is about 90% raspberry syrup.
Not a successful experiment to my palate; less fruit flavor and more beer flavor would be the way to go.
