Full-bodied with good carbonation. Fruity, piney, boozy, skittle-sy sweetness. This is the "last keg", clocking at 17.3%. Candi sugar, caramel, brown sugar, liquor (yes, that's a flavor), has a nice bite that an IPA should, and doesn't simply encroach on the Barleywine territory like the 120 does.
Enjoyed at O'Brien's Pub.

Made for O'Brien's 20th Anniversary, on tap at O'Brien's
Whoah. No need to go into much detail here...the nose is a perfect mix of citrusy, rindy hops and honey-sweet malts, and the flavors start out the same, but by the back of the sip - BOOZE - and a cloying sweetness that never goes away until your next sip. A valiant attempt, but I still haven't come across an IPA that convinces me they should be brewed over 11% or so.
