Dark brown in the snifter with a modest white foam. It tastes burnt, and then the German esters take over for the aftertaste.
A little sweet, plus the spicy taste. It's actually really weird. The charred toast flavor dominates, a harsh mistress. Some pineapple and Weetabix cereal.
This gets old really fast. On tap at the tasting room on 30th Street in San Diego.
