April 18th, 2015 - I've never had this before? With as much as I visit Rip Current, I am shocked! After the pour the head settles quickly leaving a golden retriever colored beer and cool rivulets of condensation on the surface, looking like the topography of a canyon seen from high above. Both the flavor and nose are on the sweeter side with a side of white grape, and a nice graininess. It is also quenching, with enough weight to hold the flavor, but a lightness that matches the flavors appropriately.
