Delaminator Smoked Doppelbock

July 19th, 2015 - The Delaminator has become a Rip Current staple, occupying a spot on the chalk board for some time now, Made in collaboration with home brewer Todd Barrett, this dark beer was poured straight to the top, so not much of a head to observe, but it is a delicious wet bark brown color. The aroma has some light ham and cold cut on the smell, but the flavor is intense with the stuff. Intense smokey ham flavor sizzles on the foamy palate, and leaves a crisp bologna aftertaste. I enjoy this quite a bit, though 4-5 oz. is the right size for a beer that channels the spirit of pork products to achieve its flavor profile.
