January 5th, 2016 - Just a little taster at the brewery today, but the Rip Current Pearling is another delight from the masters of all styles. The taster makes getting a good evaluation of the aroma difficult, but it has a nice wet smell and a hoppy edge. But the flavor is especially nice, with a Continental hop profile and that flavor of luxury soaps. Bold and brash, it is a little exuberant and loud, but it works well, especially since it competes with other wintertime beers (stouts, porters) and the hoppy staples at the tasting room.

Had on tap at Rip Current brew pub in San Marcos during 2015 Beer Safari along 78 corridor. Big on mosaic an Amarillo. Very tasty and an easy drinker. Very good sessionable hoppy ale.
