October 20th, 2016 - This blackberry tart is a light burgundy, almost like a fruit wine, with just a thin head on top trying and failing to keep the sour blackberry aromas from releasing into the air. And those are rich with watermelon on the nose, with raspberry brightness. There's good carbonation on the flavor, with a mouthfeel that is both thin and precise, like a surgeon's knife. The flavor blows up on the aftertaste, with fruit notes that hit mid-flavor. Very refreshing on a hot late summer day.
