April 12th, 2015 - A simple beer, but good and light and springy, the Bonzer is a beautiful beer. Amber like ancient resin, it gives off a beautiful hoppy note, rusty and clear, and glazed with sweet watermelon. The flavor is just a hair diluted, but not watery, with a beer hop flavor, and a blush of strawberry sweetness.

Another excellent beer from Rip Current. This American style pale ale features a tropical fruity nose of New Zealand and Australian hops with a healthy dose of citrus of the tart variety. The taste of the hops is rather moderate (to style) and balanced with a malt base that lets you know it's there, but never cloying. Mouth feel is medium, as is carbonation. Everything about this pale is ale is solid, dialed in, and I would drink it all the time if I could - a highly drinkable and tasty pale ale.
