Pretty good. Pours a nice black color. Not much foam, but keeps minimal lacing. Almost a roast coffee and light smokey oak burnt sugar flavor. Not much thicker than a regular stout. It's a decent one honestly and if i want a stout this would be a good choice. Overall, good job although I've had better.

At Walkerville Brewery, chilled and on tap, in a flight of four beers, leading my Monthly Responsible Beer Drinking Club. My sixth beer from the Windsor, Ontario brewery.

Pours ebony with a deep tan head that doesn’t hold for long but leaves plenty of lacing. A balanced aroma of coffee, malt and dark chocolate. Pleasant malty taste that matches the aroma, not particularly bitter and less sweet than the average milk stout. Pleasant lactose afters. It feels lighter than you might expect and finishes well. A beer befitting its name. A very easy stout to drink and love.

Looks great, almost black with tan head that dissipated quite quickly. Coffee and chocolate flavours with moderate hoppiness. Not really the sweetness or body that I look for in a milk stout but very drinkable.

Look: Dark rich brown almost black with hints of amber. Small 3/4 finger tawny head which dissapates quickly leaving a decent lacing around the glass.
Smell: Dark chocolate with hints of molasses and licorice.
Taste: Dark chocolate, green peppers, brown leather. Hints of vanilla and coffee grounds are also noticable. Nice balence between the roasted malt and bitter qualities of this beer. It reminds me of Sawdust City's Skinny Dipping Stout. It does a good job riding the milk stout edge between being too sugary and just right.
Feel: Medium bodied, very leathery from the mid sip onwards. Plays on the sides of the tongue and cheeks. Leaves a distinct oily residue at the end.
A very fine sweet and leathery stout. Not the best example of the style available in Ontario, but a game competitor to put up against the best. It earns a solid B+

Can - pours deep cola colored ale in the glass with a 2 finger tan cap...aromas of cocoa, coffee, some lactose sweetness and grassiness...not a rich mouthfeel bit kind of fluid and shrp for the stule...flaovor profile is rich in coffee-like tones, roasty and hoppy light lactose sweetness long wet finish with bittering increased. Nice approachable stout...good but not great.

473 ml can served cool into a pint glass. An LCBO purchase for just over $3 CDN.
Appearance - Near black in color, although actually appears to have red hues when held up to the proper light. A finger and change of light beige head, as it recedes smears of spidery lacing linger behind.
Smell - Molasses initially, with some dark chocolate shining through. There's an underlying medicinal smelling quality, some sort of cherry or raspberry. It's subtle but reminds me of cough syrup.
Taste - Hints of coffee initially, wet coffee grounds and vanilla. Dark chocolate creeps in gradually. Bitterness intensifies at the end, but it's not terribly bitter compared with other stouts.
Mouthfeel - Quite creamy, almost a whipped quality to the froth and coffee flavors. Body is reasonably light, carbonation on the lighter end, pairing well with the flavors.
Overall - An impressive showing and Easy Stout is just that; a tasty and flavorful stout that drinks like a dream. I could see myself enjoying a few of these over the course of a Sunday afternoon, catching up with friends in a dusty, well worn bar with many regulars.

This milk stout is from a Windsor, Ontario brewery.
L: Pours a dark brown with a tan head that is rich and foamy. Not long before the head has dissipated leaving a ring of foam around the edge of the glass.
S: Chocolate and coffee notes. Smell some sweetness behind a metallic smell.
T: The chocolate and roasted malts come through with the initial taste. A sweeter brew with a dry finish.
F: Slick on the tongue as gentle carbonation washes over your taste buds.
O: This is a pleasing milk stout if not the best out there like Stone's Xocoveza or Southern Tier's Creme Brulee. I've enjoyed this one before and I'll probably enjoy it in the future.
