Imperial Stout
Walkerville Brewery

At my lady Pamela's house; bottled and chilled, 500mL in a pint glass. From their brewery on Argyle Rd. in nearby Windsor. My eighth beer from the Windsor, Ontario brewery, and fifth for 2025.

I tried uploading a picture because there isn't any currently... but its not working. This is a different bottle, and i think a different beer than the Russian Imperial Stout. Oh well... maybe someone else can figure it out.
9.5% ABV LCBO- Was almost $12 a 500ml Bottle. Dark Stout. Darker than most. Little bit of a tan foam head. Strong beer and of course it is.
1st sip.... wow, very chocolate and mocha tasting. I was thinking i can taste the oak barrel itself after a couple sips. I'm getting chocolate and vanilla cream. Very flavorful and satisfying.
Not sure if this beer is barrel aged or not. I'm taking my time finishing it, and i want it that way.
This is a reward yourself beer, or drink on special occasions beer. Or even a "I havn't had anything like this in a while" kind of beer.

20 Minutes after this beer you can feel the booze kick in, now i havn't eaten that much today but it does have a hard hit more so than i thought it would, but it is 9.5% after all.

Beers so good i went back to Lcbo couple days later and got some more. Just as good or better than the last bottle and i put my rating up to a perfect 5 from a 4.5. Yeah i'm giving you guys 5 stars, and i would expect to at $12 a bottle. I think i got 3 beers at 5 now, and this is one of them. Give it a try if you see it. You got to like dark stout beer that's strong. I definitly do and this is my type.
