Hazy taupe with no film. 3.5
Mashed papaya but also a weird aspirin thing. 3.5
Toffee hit, fruit smoothie, tart bite, and grassy hops. 3.75
Medium, some chew, salt. 4
Don’t look great. And which are the hop notes, which the fruit? Verging on gimmicky. 3.75

Ugly opaque dirty piss pour, large head
Tropical fruits and an ashy quality to the aroma. dankness to it too but it smells a bit old. It's rather odd but not offensive.
Taste is like when you mix up a bunch of random fruit juices. Definite lime quality that was not there in aroma. Low bitterness which is just as well I think, some juicyness on the end. Slightly dry.
Thin body, nice carb
Bit of a miss step I think

330ml can served in my Spiegelau IPA glass. BBE 10.07.17 printed on the base of the can. Pours a dull orange with a murky clarity and a loose, quarter inch, off-white head. Nose is pretty bland - toasted malts and a hint of citrus and rind. Taste is a little weird - earthy, citrus, rind, passionfruit and medicinal notes that linger between quaffs. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body (but closer to light), with an even carbonation and a slightly watery texture. The description on the can was quite enticing; however, it was a bit of a let-down. Flavors were fairly dull and unassuming.

Can pour into 2/3 pint glass.
UK advocates of a certain age will be familiar with the fruit juice Um Bongo, courtesy of it's 1980's TV advert complete with racist overtones. This is that drink in alcoholic form. Very strange stuff. Beer brewed with multiple tropical fruits, lactose and oats. Basically a fruit smoothie. All of the fruits are identifiable on the nose and palate, the mouthfeel is pretty good but this is not something I'd have again in a hurry. I'm not sure that this is recognisable as beer to tell the truth. Normally love Beavertown brews but this is the exception that proves the rule as far as I'm concerned. Cheers anyway.
