On tap at Underdog, Dublin.
Hazy orange; orange zest + some murk with mashed mango; big toffee + vanilla, dried citurs rind, pine, dried mango.

Columbus, Vic Secret, Mosaic, BRU-1, El Dorado, Citra - US-05
Kinda syrupy - no wheat smoothness + not following through on all those hops on the nose. Collab hype? Too much of a good thing.

A 330ml can with a BB of Oct 2018 (canned June 2018). Purchased a little while back from Trembling Madness in York. A collaborative brew with Mikkeller (San Diego), the label calls this a wheat IPA.
A: Poured into a Duvel tulip. Can-conditioned. A hazy golden-amber hue with fine suspended sediment and moderate carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a minute or two before settling as a patchy surface layer.
S: Aroma of resinous hops with hints of pine, weed, citrus peel, leafiness, earthy yeast, subtle grain and a touch of pale malt. Very nice, though wheat not too obvious.
T: Tastes of bitter aromatic hops with notes of pine resin, dank weed, citrus peel, leafiness, earthiness, dry yeast esters, grain, mild bread and a hint of pale malt. Very dry, followed by a strident hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with fizzy carbonation and good body. Balanced and creamy. Somewhat astringent; dries the palate. Aftertaste of bitter resinous hops, pine, weed, mild citrus, earthy yeast and subtle grain.
O: Rather good, though it's hard to tell what contribution the wheat is making. Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are stuffed with bitter aromatic hops, resin, earthy yeast and mild grain. Nice body. Satisfyingly hoppy and goes down a treat - worth sampling if you have the chance.
