Copenhagen 8/1 2022. 37,7 chubby bottle from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Shiny, foil label with a lot of raised fingers.
Pours opaque, hazy pale yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick, frothy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with perfumed sweet tropical fruits. Citric and light funky notes. Sweet pale malts. Mango and peach. Citrus and lemon. Sour cheese and moldy gym bag.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is a little thin and bitter. Lingers shortly. Finish is rather dry.
Pretty light and a bit watery with a light touch of Brett.
