Damp 27/4 2018. 33 cl bottle with swing-cap from Edeka, Schleswig. Green label with corn and a shield.
Pours clear golden yellow with small white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving thin rim of foam along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is malty and sweet. Sugary with sour notes.
Light carbonation. Watery texture. Flavor is quite sweet. Followed by light bitterness and some booziness. A little metallic.
True too style a little too sweet and boozy. But neatly made.

curious little maibock. lot of nice sweet malty, brown bread flavour, almost a bubblegum note to it, some fruity ness, orange, banana, a little peppery spice to it, herbal, floral notes, light to medium bitterness on the finish, low to medium carbonation, pretty nice.

This beer pours a nice golden color with a nice medium head that has lacing and lasts.
It has an aroma of fine malts and hints of nuts.
The taste brings on even more nuttiness and nice malty flavor.
In the mouth it is light and finishes a touch dry.
This beer is a great maibock and is very smooth and drinkable.

Catch up rating. Pours out a nice, rich golden hue with two finger head and adequate lacing. The aroma is slightly nutty, and then pure malt. The taste follows the aroma, more malt, more nuts.. light body, mildly dry finish. Pretty good maibock.

The colour is gold; the large airy foam slowly sinks down into a two finger head, leaving some lacing.
The fresh smell is very malty with notes of grass and hay. Some sweet notes of treacle and caramel and a slight hint of yeast.
The taste is very malty and a bit sweet. There are grassy/flowery flavours and some mild notes of almonds, toffee and trees in leaf. The aftertaste adds some very mild, barely noticeable bitter flavours and even more grass and birch sap. The finish is a little dry.
The carbonation is mild for a lager; small bubbles. The liquid is medium to thin.
Not a single trace of alcohol. Watch and learn, Swedish micro breweries! I have noticed that beers from the northernmost German state Schleswig-Holstein often have those grassy flavours. Interesting.
