L- Pale brown, slightly hazy, minimal carbonation. Not promising, touch wood.
S- A fruit note, almost apple and pear juice.
T- Carbonation seems fine, and boy this is pretty tart (sharp/zesty) on the palate.
F- Bright, sharp, acidic. This is 6% but that doesn't even figure, even get a look in.
O- I suggest you need to already know you enjoy 'English Sour Beer' to be paying anything like this to buy one like this. It is (obviously) sour, but distinctly so, like a glass of sour apple juice. In a very rare surrender for me, especially at this price, I'm giving up on this one after about 100ml - It's just not working for me and persevering won't add to the experience.
£4.50/500ml bottle. (Tourist prices!). Bought from Cambridge Wine Merchants by the river just up along from King's College. BBE: May-2022
