This arrived as a fairly plain shade of brown with a small head. There's a few bits of lace.
The flavors in this one are subdued but good. It starts with a good and solid malt base and builds up with some minor degree of spicing. The effect is nice, bringing the beer something extra without throwing it out of line. Hops seem to be used only for balance while the other spices contribute most of the flavor in the finish.
