Pours an effervescent mahogany/ebony with a thumb of tan head. Lovely head retention & lacing
S: Coffee, maple candy, fades as this warms up
T: Follows the nose, plenty of dryness & a little woody hoppyness up front. Coffee that is pretty sweet & a little watered down once this beer warms up, plenty of dryness & woody hops as well. Finishes with maple candy, then iced coffee, dryness & woody hops, plus some vanilla
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation. Carbonation picks up a little as the beer warms up
My can says 7.5% ABV; but would believe a lesser amount, pretty drinkable, but not at the great level. I think the Maple component redeems this beer

With a big thanks to hophound, my dear brother, for this one.
12 oz can
Obsidian hue, khaki to sandy colored foam rises nearly 2 inches, then settles to a thin film and a ring. Low retention but scattered, clumpy lacing.
Nose is pure bliss. A round, slightly fruity medium roast coffee with a straight up, subtle kiss of maple syrup. Exactly as advertised! The roast is gentle yet firm. The maple is warm, welcoming, no where near cloying.
Flavor is a smooth ride, predominately coffee. The maple is much more subdued here. Hints of cocoa and and earthy peat also come in for a spell.
Mouthfeel is smooth and mildly bitter and toasty on the finish.
